An avalanche on the Armancette glacier, close to Mont Blanc in south-eastern France, has killed 4 individuals. The victims are considered a bunch of hikers.
The close by ski resort of Contamines-Montjoie posted a video on social media displaying an enormous wall of snow shifting down from the Dômes de Miage, which the glacier is part of. It’s not recognized whether or not that is the avalanche the hikers died in.
French authorities mentioned a number of others had been injured, and a search and rescue operation was underneath means.
