BERLIN (AP) — Police in western Germany are interesting for assist in cracking a probably very chilly case.
Authorities say about 60 containers of bull sperm had been stolen from a farm within the city of Olfen, 90 kilometers (56 miles) northeast of Cologne, late Monday or early Tuesday.
Police mentioned in a press release Wednesday that whereas it’s unclear how the rustle occurred, the valuable cargo must be supercooled with liquid nitrogen at –196 Celsius levels (–320 Fahrenheit) so it isn’t spoiled.
They’re looking for ideas from the general public which may result in the restoration of the sperm, which was supposed for synthetic insemination.
